Job & Responsibilities

Our client develops and markets software that automates the testing of Salesforce.com. They help companies to reduce the time it takes to deliver high-quality, reliable, and error-free deployments and make changes to Salesforce.com. Their innovative suite of products set them apart as the leading testing solution for Salesforce.com. They focus on delivering test automation products that are easily adopted for use by non-technical users, whilst also delivering high value and code flexibility for our developer community. The position has following Job description:

What you’ll do:
● Perform testing for new product features and contribute to regression testing of the product.
● Review user stories and prepare test scenarios and also maintain existing test suites for different components of the product.
● Writing automation scripts on provar & selenium javascript based framework using typescript as a scripting language.
● Perform test execution and report defects and problems that arise while software test
● Being innovative in your testing and providing solutions to automate the manual tasks performed by the testing team.
● Working as one team and cross collaborate with dev & product teams to brainstorm and identify business use case & scenarios during requirement refinement phase
● Be proactive in assessing & highlighting the risks to your product steering group & work in a collaborative manner and help the team with delivery.
● Focus on self learning, continuous improvement and improve product knowledge and test automation expertise.
● Scaling up your knowledge on salesforce through training and trailheads.
● Escalating any issues to your line manager promptly

You’ll have:
● 3 - 5 years of software testing experience with strong understanding of testing life cycle and methodologies.
● Knowledge and experience of web/desktop automation tools preferably selenium with Java as a language.
● Experience with Salesforce projects and clouds like Service Cloud, Sales Cloud etc.
● Working experience with development of custom Salesforce applications and packages.
● Preferably having a Salesforce Admin Certification or other Salesforce certifications.
● Good Knowledge of at least one programming language

You’ll be:
● Having strong analytical and problem solving skills, should be able to research and understand an undocumented set up and application
● Having excellent communication skills (speaking, writing and presenting)

● Having a proactive, organized and collaborative approach with a ‘can do’ attitude
● Able to work in a team environment It may be advantageous to also have these skills:
● Salesforce.com testing or testing of other SaaS (Software as a Service) applications.
● Good understanding of Selenium
● Understanding of Web Services & experience in writing SQL queries
● Knowledge of Desktop, Performance tools
